Folding Doors

Folding Doors & Glass Walls

Bi-fold doors and folding glass walls that open the home fully to patios, courtyards and yards.

Southern California is one of the best places in the country for folding glass walls. We install bi-fold systems and large folding walls that stack neatly to one or both ends of the opening for a true indoor-outdoor connection.

Folding systems are precision products. The tracks, rollers, hinges and weather seals all have to be set carefully — we plan for header deflection, floor flatness and finish flooring early in the process.

Questions about folding doors & glass walls

What is the difference between bi-fold doors and folding glass walls?+

Bi-fold doors typically describe smaller two- or three-panel systems. Folding glass walls describe larger multi-panel systems that span wide openings and fold to one or both ends.

Do folding doors seal well against weather?+

Quality folding systems include compression weather seals, drainage tracks and floor sweeps. Performance varies by product line — we specify systems appropriate for the exposure.

Can you add a folding door where there is currently a window?+

Often yes, but it requires structural review of the header and possibly a new beam. We coordinate with structural and permitting professionals when needed.
